Biocontrol of crop growth and disease
It has been successfully proven that Micro-organisms replace chemicals in crop pest and disease control.
Many traits of microbial pesticides as biocontrol agents appear to be important for biological safety
in crop production. We are trying to reveal background of these microbial activities using molecular
microbiological approach as well as biochemistry. Additionally, we are also try to promote crop growth
or vice versa using microbes. Disease control as well as growth control in agriculture using microbes
containing bioactive proteins and/or bioactive organic products are our research goal.
